Why has my Bitcoin not appeared in my wallet yet?

After you complete your transaction at the kiosk, you will receive both an email and an SMS with your transaction details and a link to view your transaction hash on the blockchain. Use that link to check its confirmation status.

Network confirmation times vary, and your wallet may wait for confirmations before showing a purchase as complete. Check the receiving address against the details in your email or SMS. A delay alone does not tell you whether a purchase failed.

Wallets and storage

What does a Bitcoin wallet do?

A wallet lets you receive and manage Bitcoin. It manages the keys used to authorize transactions; your Bitcoin is recorded on the blockchain. Prepare a wallet you control before visiting the ATM.

How do I prepare a wallet?

We recommend BlueWallet as a good option for your Bitcoin wallet. Visit BlueWallet's official website for download links to Google Play for Android or the Apple App Store for iPhone. Follow the setup instructions to create a Bitcoin wallet, and securely back up its recovery phrase before making a purchase.

Where do I find my receiving address and QR code?

Open your wallet, select Bitcoin, and choose its receive option. It should show a receiving address and QR code. Use the QR code for your own wallet and check the address shown at the kiosk before paying.

How should I protect my wallet?

Keep your recovery phrase and private keys private, with a secure backup separate from your device. Anyone who obtains them may be able to spend your Bitcoin. Never share them with a supposed adviser, someone you met online, or anyone claiming to provide support.
